- Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir said the military suffered a severe, systemic failure on October 7 and announced personal sanctions against senior officers.
- Former top commanders were dismissed from reserve service, including Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliva, Maj. Gen. Oded Basiuk, Maj. Gen. Yaron Finkelman, Brig. Gen. Yossi Sariel, Brig. Gen. Avi Rosenfeld, Col. Ariel Lubovski and Col. Haim Cohen.
- The Gaza Division intelligence officer identified as Lt. Col. A. was removed, and anonymized officers identified as Brig. Gen. “Gimmel” and Lt. Col. “Alef” were ousted entirely from the IDF.
