Idaho Fugitive Arrested for Stealing and Flying Plane from Las Vegas to California

Damian Zukaitis, wanted for felony stalking in Idaho, is also suspected of multiple airplane burglaries at the North Las Vegas airport.

Damian Zukaitis, a 40-year-old man from Idaho, has been arrested for allegedly stealing a small plane from a Las Vegas airport and flying it to a California desert.
The stolen aircraft, a 2020 Kitfox fixed-wing single-engine type, was valued at about $80,000.
Zukaitis is also suspected of being responsible for three other airplane burglaries at the North Las Vegas airport on Dec. 27, 28 and 29.
Upon discovery, the stolen plane was found with beer bottles and cans in the cockpit, along with traces of marijuana.
Zukaitis is a wanted fugitive in Ada County, Idaho, with a history of criminal charges, including felony stalking.
