Overview

• Damian Zukaitis, a 40-year-old man from Idaho, has been arrested for allegedly stealing a small plane from a Las Vegas airport and flying it to a California desert.
• The stolen aircraft, a 2020 Kitfox fixed-wing single-engine type, was valued at about $80,000.
• Zukaitis is also suspected of being responsible for three other airplane burglaries at the North Las Vegas airport on Dec. 27, 28 and 29.
• Upon discovery, the stolen plane was found with beer bottles and cans in the cockpit, along with traces of marijuana.
• Zukaitis is a wanted fugitive in Ada County, Idaho, with a history of criminal charges, including felony stalking.
