Idaho Couple Killed in Oregon Plane Crash Identified

A married couple from Caldwell, Idaho, were identified as the victims of a small plane crash in central Oregon.
The crash occurred Sunday night around 7:40 p.m. in a remote area outside the city of Madras.
The victims' names have not been released due to difficulties in notifying their families.
The National Transportation Safety Board has opened an investigation into the crash, with a preliminary report expected within 30 days.
The plane, a single-engine Piper PA-32, had taken off from Aurora, south of Portland, before crashing.
