• Core components include iCloud Photos, iCloud Drive, iCloud Backup for device restores, Find My for locating devices, and iCloud Keychain for passwords and credentials.
• Every Apple ID gets 5GB free, with iCloud+ offering larger paid tiers at 50GB, 200GB, and 2TB or higher, and storage can be shared through Family Sharing.
• Sensitive categories such as passwords, health information, and payment details have end-to-end encryption, while Photos and iCloud Drive are not end-to-end encrypted.
