Overview
- The foundation stone for the ICICI Foundation Block for Child and Blood Cancer at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital was laid on June 12.
- ICICI Bank’s Rs550 crore funding forms part of its wider Rs1,800 crore CSR partnership with Tata Memorial Centre.
- The 3.9 lakh square-foot facility will offer 215 beds and is projected to treat 3,000 patients each year.
- Planned services include chemotherapy, bone marrow transplants, CAR-T cell therapy and advanced diagnostics with MRI, PET-CT and three LINACs.
- Infrastructure will feature 14 bone marrow transplant rooms, 14 ICUs, five operating theatres, research labs and training zones with completion targeted by 2027.
