Ice-T and David Gilmour Collaborate on New 'Comfortably Numb' Cover

Ice-T and his heavy metal band Body Count have teamed up with Pink Floyd's David Gilmour to release a new version of 'Comfortably Numb'.
The cover includes new lyrics by Ice-T that tackle themes of societal isolation and current global issues.
Initially, Pink Floyd did not permit the cover, but Gilmour and Roger Waters approved it after Ice-T approached them directly.
David Gilmour praised the new rendition, stating it made the nearly 50-year-old song relevant again.
The track will be featured on Body Count's upcoming album, Merciless, set to release on November 22, 2024.
