• Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation announced on June 9 that Ice Spice will voice a major character in The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants
• The rapper will record an original song for the film, marking her first official SpongeBob collaboration since her 2022 track “Bikini Bottom”
• The ensemble cast has been expanded to include Regina Hall, Sherry Cola, Arturo Castro and George Lopez in undisclosed roles
• Mark Hamill is set to reprise his role as the ghostly Flying Dutchman
