• ICE arrested 1,361 noncitizens in the Houston area during its June sweep, marking the largest regional enforcement action this year.
• Agency data show the detainees included 32 convicted child sex offenders, nine homicide suspects and 16 alleged gang or cartel members.
• Among those detained was 56-year-old Adermis Wilson-Gonzalez, who hijacked a plane from Cuba to Florida in 2003 and served 20 years in prison.
