Ice Climber Kyle Allen Rott Dies After Fall in Montana

36-year-old Kyle Allen Rott died after falling during an ice climb in Hyalite Canyon, Montana.
Rott sustained blunt force trauma to the head from the fall and was airlifted to Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
The incident was reported through a GPS device monitoring service and a 911 call from an eyewitness.
Five search and rescue teams, along with Two Bear Air Rescue and medical helicopters, responded to the incident.
Rott's death was ruled accidental by the coroner’s office.
