ICE Arrests 65 in 4-Day Connecticut Operation Targeting Alleged Serious Offenders

State leaders reject federal pressure to weaken Connecticut's expanded Trust Act.

Overview

  • ICE Boston said its “Operation Broken Trust” ran from Aug. 12 to 15 across Connecticut.
  • The agency reported that 29 of those apprehended had serious U.S. convictions or charges, including kidnapping, assault, drug offenses, weapons violations, and sex crimes.
