Overview
- The World Cup is set for September 30 to November 2, 2025, with matches staged at four Indian grounds and Sri Lanka’s R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
- Eight nations—India, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan—will compete in a round-robin league before the semifinals and final.
- All of Pakistan’s group fixtures will take place in Colombo under a neutral-venue agreement agreed by the ICC, BCCI and PCB.
- Knockout venues depend on Pakistan’s progression: the first semi-final on October 29 will be in Guwahati or Colombo, the second on October 30 in Bengaluru, and the November 2 final in Bengaluru unless Pakistan advance.
- ICC Chairman Jay Shah said the tournament will sustain recent momentum in women’s cricket and elevate its global profile.
