ICC Modifies Champions Trophy Tour After India’s Objections

The ICC has revised the Champions Trophy tour itinerary, removing cities in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir following India's concerns.

The ICC Champions Trophy tour will begin in Islamabad, Pakistan, and travel to several cities before the tournament starts in January 2025.
Cities in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir were initially included in the tour but were removed after India raised objections.
The revised tour will cover cities such as Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Abbottabad, among others, excluding disputed territories.
The trophy will also visit Afghanistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, England, and India before the tournament begins.
India has expressed reluctance to participate in the tournament in Pakistan, prompting ICC to consider alternative hosting solutions.
