India's decision to play all its matches in the UAE, citing security concerns, led to logistical challenges, including uncertainty over the venues for semi-finals and the final if India advances.
The agreement between the ICC, BCCI, and PCB ensures reciprocal arrangements for future tournaments, with Pakistan also avoiding travel to India through 2027.
This marks the first global cricket event hosted in Pakistan since 1996, with the PCB investing heavily in stadium upgrades to showcase the country's readiness for international tournaments.
