Overview
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has published the January 2027 schedule with CA Intermediate papers across two groups on January 2, 4, 6 and January 8, 10, 12, and CA Foundation papers on January 3, 5, 7 and 9.
- All Intermediate papers will run a single afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST, Foundation Papers 1 and 2 will run 2:00 PM–5:00 PM and Papers 3 and 4 will run 2:00 PM–4:00 PM with specified advance‑reading rules.
- The registration window to appear in the January session opens November 3 and closes November 16, 2026, and candidates must register at icai.org to be allocated centres and receive further instructions and admit cards.
- Exams will be held at three overseas cities — Dubai, Bahrain and Kathmandu — with local start times set to match the 2:00 PM IST single‑shift schedule, and centres will operate only if enough candidates opt for them.
- Fees are set at ₹1,500 for Foundation and ₹1,500 for a single Intermediate group or ₹2,700 for both groups, and ICAI has said the published timetable will not change for government‑declared public holidays.
