ICAI Postpones Jan. 19 CA Inter Auditing and Ethics Paper Across India and Abroad

Overview

• The deferment applies only to Group II Paper-5 (Auditing and Ethics) for the January 2026 session.
• All other CA Intermediate and Foundation examinations will proceed as per the published timetable.
• Admit cards already issued remain valid, and candidates will report to the same centres on the rescheduled date.
• The postponement covers every examination centre in India as well as overseas locations.
• The paper had earlier been moved from January 15 to January 19, and ICAI separately requires a Digital Practical Training Diary for new articled trainees from January 1, 2026.
