Ica Region Announces S/53.9 Million Upgrade of Hospital Equipment at Five Facilities

The Works for Taxes framework will channel private financing to replace obsolete devices flagged in health reports.

  • The program allocates S/53,871,000 for San Juan de Dios (S/11,401,000), Regional de Ica (S/18,498,000), Santa María del Socorro (S/10,523,000), San José de Chincha (S/11,693,000) and Ricardo Cruzado Rivarola in Nasca (S/1,396,000).
  • For the Regional Hospital of Ica, planned purchases include nine ventilators, two anesthesia machines with advanced monitoring, a digital X‑ray system with fluoroscopy, a PACS‑RIS platform, a bone densitometer, two 4D/5D ultrasound units and two echocardiography systems.
  • Other hospitals are slated for anesthesia machines, electrohydraulic operating tables, high‑intensity surgical lamps, laparoscopic surgery systems, stationary and portable digital X‑ray equipment and ecodopplers.
