Brazil’s GDP per capita in 2023 was R$51,693.92, according to the definitive national accounts.
On the supply side, services grew 2.8%, industry 1.7% and agriculture 16.3%, lifting value added by 3.4% with services contributing 1.9 percentage points.
Final consumption rose 3.4%, with household spending up 3.2% and government outlays up 3.8%, while domestic demand added 2.0 percentage points and external demand 1.3 points to overall growth.
Gross fixed capital formation fell 3% in 2023 and the investment rate stood at 16.4%.
The growth estimate moved from 2.9% initially to 3.2% after revisions and is now confirmed as IBGE publishes aggregated results during the base‑year transition, with 10 of 12 major activities stable or expanding.
