Ian Somerhalder, known for his roles in 'Vampire Diaries' and 'Lost', has confirmed his retirement from acting, stating he doesn't miss it.
Somerhalder and his wife, Nikki Reed, have moved to a farm outside Los Angeles where they grow most of their own food and live with their two children and 18 pets.
The couple are executive producers of the documentary 'Common Ground', which explores the regenerative agriculture movement and its potential to combat climate change.
The documentary features other celebrities such as Laura Dern, Donald Glover, and Jason Momoa, and is a follow-up to the 2020 documentary 'Kiss the Ground', which Somerhalder also participated in.
Somerhalder has transitioned into producing documentaries about climate change and building legacy brands, including a bourbon company and a health and wellness company.
