Ian Hislop's Taxi Hit by Suspected Gunshot in Soho

The Private Eye editor and Have I Got News for You star was uninjured as police launch investigation into the incident.

Police responded to reports of a firearm discharge on Dean Street, Soho, at 10:10am on Tuesday.
A suspected gunshot struck the back window of a black cab carrying Ian Hislop, editor of Private Eye magazine.
Both Hislop and the taxi driver were unharmed during the incident.
The Metropolitan Police have closed roads around the scene and are examining CCTV footage.
Hislop has been the editor of Private Eye since 1986 and is known for his long tenure on the satirical panel show Have I Got News for You.
