Overview
- The Indian Air Force concluded a large-scale flying display over Lachit Ghat on the Brahmaputra on November 9, drawing huge crowds for the Northeast’s first full-scale Air Force Day show.
- Around 25 formations featured frontline fighters and transports including Rafale, Su-30MKI, Tejas, Mirage, Jaguar, Apache, C-17, C-130J, C-295 and An-32, with reports putting total aircraft from 58 to more than 75.
- A special 'Barak' formation paid tribute to aircraft that took part in Operation Sindoor, while Surya Kiran performed aerobatics and the Sarang helicopter team returned to displays after a hiatus.

- A NOTAM was in effect and aircraft operated from seven regional bases including Guwahati, Tezpur, Jorhat, Chabua, Hasimara, Bagdogra and Panagarh, with officials emphasizing public engagement and recruitment under the theme 'Infallible, Impervious and Precise'.
