IAF Sets Guwahati Brahmaputra Air Displays for Nov. 5, 6, 8 and 9

Preparations are underway in the city, with public guidance to be issued closer to the shows through official channels.

  • Participating aircraft and display teams have begun arriving in Guwahati to conduct rehearsals and coordination activities.
  • Spectators can view the flying displays from both banks of the Brahmaputra between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on November 5, 6, 8 and 9.
  • The lineup features the indigenously built LCA Tejas, Rafale jets and the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team, along with other frontline IAF platforms.
  • This year’s Air Force Day theme is “Infallible, Impervious and Precise,” highlighting a focus on operational excellence and precision.
  • Organisers will release details on viewing arrangements, traffic advisories and access routes via official IAF social media and local media; a separate flypast at the Statue of Unity is scheduled for October 31.
