- Late July the Indian Air Force sent provisional exam city intimation slips to candidates’ registered email addresses and mobile numbers to show their allotted AFCAT 02/2026 test city.
- The city slip is explicitly not the admit card and will not be accepted for entry to the exam; officials say the e‑admit cards will be issued separately nine days before the test.
- Candidates can download the city slip and later the e‑admit card from the official AFCAT portals (afcat.edcil.co.in or afcat.cdac.in) by logging in with their registered credentials.
- The AFCAT 02/2026 online test is scheduled for August 8 and 9, 2026, and will feature 100 objective questions totaling 300 marks with +3 for correct answers and −1 for wrong answers.
- Anyone who cannot download documents or finds discrepancies should contact the AFCAT Query Cell at 91-9513252077 or afcathelpdesk@edcil.co.in and keep printed copies of e-documents for exam entry.
