Overview
- The Indian Air Force posted the tentative AFCAT 02/2026 answer key and individual response sheets on the candidate portal, with the objection management system going live on Tuesday for exam takers to review their answers.
- Candidates must use their registered email, password and captcha at afcat.edcil.co.in to download their response sheets and the provisional key through the candidate login area.
- The provisional key lets applicants calculate an estimated score using the published marking scheme of plus three for correct answers and minus one for wrong answers.
- Challenges can be submitted only via the online objection portal with supporting details and the IAF will examine all valid claims before publishing a final answer key; the deadline for objections has not been announced.
- The exam was held online on August 8 as a 100-question, 300-mark test for entry to Flying and Ground Duty branches and the final key will feed into scoring, merit lists and candidates’ progression to the next selection stages for the advertised vacancies.
