- The Indian Air Force made e‑admit cards available on the official AFCAT portal and to registered email IDs on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, with portal access enabled from 11:00 AM.
- Candidates must log in at afcat.edcil.co.in using their registered credentials to download the e‑admit card because no physical admit cards will be posted.
- The AFCAT computer‑based test is scheduled for August 8, 2026 and will have 100 objective questions worth 300 marks covering General Awareness, English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and Military Aptitude.
- The exam uses a three‑mark reward for correct answers and a one‑mark penalty for wrong answers and successful candidates will move on to AFSB interviews, document verification and medicals for final selection of 379 vacancies.
