Overview

• The IAF extended the application deadline from July 31 to August 4 to accommodate additional candidates.
• Applicants must register online at agnipathvayu.cdac.in, submit required documents and biometric details, and pay a ₹550 fee.
• Eligibility is limited to unmarried youth aged 17.5–21 years (born July 2, 2005–January 2, 2009) with specified Class 12 or diploma qualifications and English proficiency.
• The four-stage selection includes a bilingual objective test, physical efficiency trials (including a 1.6 km run in seven minutes for men and eight for women), document verification and medical examination.
• Selected Agniveer Vayu recruits will serve four years under the Agnipath scheme, receive monthly pay up to ₹40,000 and a government-matched Seva Nidhi savings contribution.
