  • Hyundai’s Ioniq 6 N, revealed July 10 at Goodwood, combines dual motors for 478 kW (650 PS) system output, 770 Nm N Grin Boost torque, a 3.2 s 0–100 km/h sprint and a top speed of 257 km/h.
  • Track-inspired upgrades include a new suspension geometry, N e-Shift virtual gear simulation and an enhanced N Active Sound+ system for simulated engine acoustics.
  • An 84 kWh battery delivers up to 469 km WLTP range and uses an 800-volt architecture to charge from 10 to 80 percent in around 18 minutes at up to 350 kW.
  • Mazda’s 6e electric sedan has been on sale in Germany since April with a 190 kW rear-wheel-drive motor, a 69 kWh LFP battery for roughly 480 km WLTP range and a €44,900 base price but achieves only about 1.2 kWh per minute on DC fast charging.
  • Hyundai N division chief Joon Park called the discontinuation of petrol hot-hatches like the i20 N and i30 N “a disaster,” highlighting tensions over preserving driving heritage amid electrification.
