Hyundai to Supply Iveco with Electric Light Commercial Vehicle

The vehicle, based on Hyundai's Global eLCV platform, is set to launch in Europe in September 2024.

Hyundai Motor and Iveco Group have announced a deal for Hyundai to supply a fully electric light commercial vehicle to the Italian truck and bus maker.
The vehicle will be based on Hyundai's Global eLCV platform and will weigh between 2.5-3.5 tons.
Hyundai will manufacture and supply the vehicle's chassis cab for the European market, while Iveco will customize it locally and distribute it exclusively through its sales channels.
The launch of the new vehicle is expected in September 2024.
The partnership between Hyundai and Iveco started in 2022, with Hyundai already helping Iveco develop its hydrogen fuel cell eDAILY FCEV van and E-WAY FCEV city bus.
