Hyundai to Launch Affordable Casper EV in Europe

Hyundai is set to launch the Casper EV, an affordable electric vehicle, in Europe by the end of the year, priced around €20,000 ($21,500).
The Casper EV, a mini SUV, aims to compete with Tesla and Volkswagen in the European market, featuring a lithium iron phosphate battery with a range of 125-187 miles.
Initially available in South Korea with a gasoline engine, the Casper will now be offered with an electric powertrain in Europe.
Hyundai's entry into the affordable EV market in Europe is part of a broader strategy to expand its electric vehicle portfolio and regain market share.
The Casper EV may benefit from EV subsidies in France, potentially reducing its price further, although it will be manufactured in South Korea.
