Hyundai Sets Nov. 4 India Launch for Second-Generation Venue

Hyundai is pairing a full design refresh with a tech-rich cabin to lift the compact SUV’s appeal.

Overview

  • The new Venue will be unveiled in India on November 4, a date that falls during the country’s festive sales period.
  • Exterior changes include new front and rear bumpers, a revised grille with rectangular inserts, vertically stacked headlamps, fresh alloy designs, updated LED tail-lamps and a new spoiler.
  • Inside, reports point to a curved dual-display layout with a larger touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a dual-pane sunroof and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
  • Powertrains are expected to carry over with the 1.2-litre petrol, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, paired with existing manual and DCT/automatic gearbox options.
  • An updated Venue N Line is expected to follow the launch, with the model set to compete against the Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Skoda Kylaq.
