Overview
- Hyundai Motor Company officially unveiled the Ioniq 6 N on July 10 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex, marking its second high-performance EV under the N sub-brand.
- Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system produces 642 bhp and 770 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0–62 mph in 3.2 seconds and reaching a top speed of 160 mph.
- Built on the E-GMP platform, the sedan features an 84 kWh battery with bespoke cooling and thermal management tailored for drag runs, circuit laps and extended motorway cruising.
- The model incorporates Hyundai N’s Corner Rascal, Racetrack Capability and Everyday Sportscar philosophy with N Active Sound+ engine soundtrack simulation, N e-Shift virtual gearshifts and performance modes like N Grin Boost and N Drift Optimiser.
- Aerodynamic upgrades — including a swan-neck rear wing, widened arches and front splitter — trim the drag coefficient to 0.27, and while official pricing is pending, analysts project around £70,000 with first deliveries due late 2025 or early 2026.
