Hyundai, Kia Set U.S. Q3 and September Sales Records as EV Growth Accelerates

Fresh EV pricing alongside charging updates aims to carry momentum into year-end.

  • Hyundai posted all-time September and Q3 highs with 71,003 vehicles for the month and 239,069 for the quarter, as U.S. EV sales rose 153% year over year.
  • Kia reported 65,507 September sales and a record any-quarter total of 219,637, reaching 636,148 year to date, with the EV9 notching best-ever monthly (3,094) and quarterly (7,510) results.
  • Hyundai Motor Group’s combined U.S. sales climbed 12.1% in September to 143,367 and reached a record 481,750 in Q3, with a monthly EV high of 17,269 including 11,052 for Hyundai and 6,217 for Kia.
