Hyundai Expands Alcazar Line-up with New Diesel and DCT-Equipped Petrol Variants

The upgrades aim to deliver a personalized, premium SUV experience to buyers in India's competitive mid-size segment.

Overview

  • The Corporate diesel trim packs a 1.5L CRDi engine producing 115 bhp and 253 Nm, offered with six-speed manual or automatic transmissions and priced from ₹17.86 lakh to ₹19.28 lakh (ex-showroom).
  • The Prestige petrol DCT model features a 1.5L turbo GDi engine making 160 bhp and 253 Nm, mated exclusively to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox with a starting price of ₹18.63 lakh (ex-showroom).
  • Both new variants come standard with a voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ambient cabin lighting, a 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluelink connectivity and wireless charging.
  • Safety across the Alcazar range continues to include six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist control and vehicle stability management for comprehensive occupant protection.
  • Hyundai says the expanded line-up underscores its commitment to personalization and premium value as it takes on rivals such as the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700 and MG Hector Plus.
