Overview
- Hyundai Motor India, which launched the Creta Summer Edition on Thursday, made six variants available nationwide at Rs 12.05–17.88 lakh ex-showroom.
- The EX trim now gets a smart key and push-button start, while the EX(O) adds quad-beam LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, DRLs, a rear camera with dynamic guidelines, and a rear sunshade.
- The S(O) and S(O) Knight variants gain a factory-fitted dashcam with multiple recording modes, and the SX adds a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster along with the dashcam.
- The SX Premium variant introduces a 360-degree Surround View Monitor, a Blind Spot View Monitor that shows camera feeds in the cluster, and front parking sensors.
- There are no mechanical changes as the range continues with 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines with manual and automatic gearboxes, a move Hyundai positions to sustain Creta’s dominance after 1.4 million cumulative sales and before an expected next-generation model.
