Hyundai Australia Slashes EV Prices, Up to AU$35,000 Off Ioniq 6

The cuts aim to clear leftover 2023 Ioniq 6s ahead of an update whose local timing is still to be confirmed.

Overview

  • Nationwide Q4 drive-away offers cover most Hyundai EVs, with the steepest reductions on 2023 Ioniq 6 stock of up to about AU$34,142–AU$35,000.
  • Ioniq 6 drive-away pricing now starts at AU$49,990 for Dynamiq, AU$54,990 for Techniq, and AU$59,990 for Epiq.
  • Hyundai says roughly 115 MY23 Ioniq 6 vehicles remain in Australia, and the latest discounts are available to all buyers rather than tied to finance.
  • Other models included are Ioniq 5 Standard Range at AU$65,990 (down AU$9,779), Kona Electric Standard Range at AU$49,990 (down AU$9,189), and Inster from AU$39,990 (down AU$3,320 to AU$3,925).
  • Ioniq 6 deliveries have fallen 72% this year to 93, a facelift’s Australian arrival is listed as TBC, and the Ioniq 6 N is confirmed for early 2026 as dealers caution that deep cuts can depress resale values.
