- Hyundai Motor Group and Kia were named official mobility partners for the 15th APEC Energy, 16th Clean Energy and 10th Mission Innovation ministerials in Busan, supplying a 63-vehicle zero-emission fleet.
- The transport lineup features 34 Hyundai Nexo hydrogen fuel cell SUVs, 12 Genesis Electrified G80 sedans, 14 Kia EV9 electric SUVs and three hydrogen-powered Hyundai Universe buses.
- It marks the first time hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will carry high-level dignitaries at an international energy summit.
- The Nexo model offers up to 720 kilometers of driving range per refill, highlighting Hyundai’s leadership in hydrogen mobility technology.
- Officials from more than 20 economies will use the vehicles to attend discussions on power grid infrastructure, energy security, AI-driven innovation and carbon reduction.
