Overview
- Unlock the Backpack by upgrading a Workbench to Tier 2 using 30 Copper Ingots, 20 Iron Ingots, and 20 Linen Scraps.
- Craft the Backpack with 8 Iron Ingots and 16 Medium Leather to add extra inventory capacity, reported as nine additional slots by Destructoid.
- Backpack Upgrade I becomes available at Workbench Tier 3 and requires 40 Cindercloth Scraps, 8 Cobalt Ingots, and 24 Heavy Leather.
- Backpack Upgrade II is tied to the Memories path, requiring submission of 100 Memories at the Forgotten Temple plus 1 Voidheart, 8 Adamantite Ingots, and 16 Storm Leather.
- Upgrades are crafted via the Workbench’s Tinkering tab and equipped in a dedicated slot on the character screen, with Linen Scraps obtained from humanoid enemies and metals mined then smelted into ingots.
