Hytale Early Access Streamlines Multiplayer With Share Codes and Dedicated Server Options

Overview

  • Hosts enable Online Play in a singleplayer world to create a share code, optionally add a password, and send it to friends to join.
  • Friends connect from the main menu by selecting Servers, choosing Join via Code, pasting the code, and entering a password if required.
  • Hytale performs a UPnP router negotiation when generating a code, and Hypixel warns that codes include the host’s IP address.
  • For persistent worlds and higher player counts, Hypixel supports dedicated servers with launch-verified partners Nitrado, Apex Hosting, GPORTAL, Shockbyte, and Dathost.
  • Self-hosting follows Hypixel’s Server Manual, which details installing Java 25 and using the Hytale Downloader CLI, and the studio notes early-access bugs or server issues may occur.
