Hyderabad’s 85th Numaish Opens January 1 With Expanded Safety and Transport Setup

Organisers outlined ticketing, timings, crowd control, emergency readiness, public transport for the 45-day fair.

  • Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will inaugurate the exhibition on January 1 at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds.
  • The fair runs through February 15, operating from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on working days and until 11 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
  • Entry is priced at ₹50 per person with free admission for children under five.
  • About 1,050 manufacturers and artisans will participate alongside roughly 20 food stalls and an amusement area.
  • Arrangements include 106 security staff, 138 day and 76 night volunteers, 120 CCTV cameras, two 1.5‑lakh‑litre tanks feeding 82 hydrants with two 10,000‑litre fire engines on site, special TGSRTC buses, higher‑frequency Metro services at Gandhi Bhavan and Nampally, and free parking at Gruha Kalpa, Chandra Vihar, Gagan Vihar and the TGPSC compound with paid parking near Handloom House.
