Overview

• Vigilance teams found unauthorized 20 mm connections at Miraj and Iram Fortune Apartments in the Bazaar Ghat/Red Hills area, a property registered under Akhil and 47 others.
• Following a routine check that produced a confession report, criminal cases were filed against 48 individuals at Nampally Police Station.
• In a separate operation at Aghapura under O&M Division-4, Hindi Nagar Section, two illegal 20 mm connections were detected and a case was registered against owner Salahuddin at Habibnagar/Habeeb Nagar Police Station.
• The actions bring the total number of people charged to 49 across the two cases identified by HMWSSB vigilance officers.
• Officials warned that illegal connections and the commercial misuse of domestic meters will attract criminal action, and urged reports to the vigilance hotline at 99899 98100.
