• Alwal police registered a case after three Class 9 students reported being assaulted following a trip arranged by the accused.
• The girls had left home on September 20 saying they were attending Bathukamma celebrations before being taken from Hyderabad to Yadagirigutta.
• Police say the men first took the students to a hotel for lunch, then booked separate lodge rooms in Yadagirigutta where the assaults occurred.
• The next day the girls were dropped in Tarnaka, and a complaint was filed after they later confided in their parents.
• Police identified the accused as Madhu, 19, a GHMC contract employee, and his friends Vamsi Aravind, 22, and Neeraj, 21; all three and the lodge manager Somesh have been arrested and remanded.
