Overview
- On August 8, the board lifted three additional floodgates at Himayatsagar, bringing the total to four and boosting discharge to 2,070 cusecs after inflows peaked.
- Inflow into Himayatsagar hovered near its full tank level of 1,763.50 feet, reaching as high as 4,000 cusecs at 10 a.m.
