Hyderabad Man Arrested for Shooting Girlfriend's Father Over Study Abroad Decision

The incident occurred after the father sent his daughter to the US, allegedly to end her relationship with the accused.

Balwinder Singh, 25, used an air gun to shoot Revanth Anand, 57, in the eye in Hyderabad.
The altercation happened after Anand sent his daughter to the US, which Singh perceived as an attempt to break their relationship.
Singh was arrested by the police and charged with attempted murder and other offenses under the Arms Act.
CCTV footage captured Singh fleeing the scene after the shooting and damaging Anand's car windshield.
Anand is currently undergoing treatment for his eye injury, and the police are investigating the case further.
