Overview
- Construction of an elevated corridor between Paradise Junction and Dairy Farm Road begins on October 30 and is expected to last about nine months.
- The stretch from Rajiv Gandhi Statue junction to Balamrai will remain closed in both directions for the entire period, and motorists are advised to avoid the Balamrai–CTO road due to likely congestion.
- Traffic from Balanagar heading to Panjagutta or Tank Bund should use the Tadbund – Mastan Café – Diamond Point – Mudfort – NCC – JBS route.
- Vehicles from Suchitra bound for Panjagutta or Tank Bund should take Safe Express – Bapuji Nagar – Centre Point – Diamond Point – Mudfort – NCC – JBS – SBI as the alternate route.
- Motorists from Tank Bund, Ranigunj, Panjagutta, Rasoolpura, or Plaza towards Tadbund via CTO will be diverted at Rajiv Gandhi Statue to Anna Nagar – Balamrai – Tadbund, and Anna Nagar residents are asked to use Meeting Point, Hockey Ground, and police station bylanes or go via Balamrai; for assistance, the traffic helpline is 9010203626.
