Hyderabad, Cyberabad Night Checks Net 536 Drunk-Driving Cases

Overview

• Hyderabad Traffic Police detained 305 motorists in Saturday night checks, including 242 two-wheeler riders, 26 three-wheelers, 35 four-wheelers, and 2 heavy vehicles.
• Cyberabad Police booked 231 cases during the weekend operation, with 187 two-wheeler riders, 15 three-wheeler drivers, and 29 four-wheeler drivers.
• Officers reported severe intoxication in some cases, with 13 readings above 300 mg/100 ml in Hyderabad and 12 at 301 mg/100 ml or higher in Cyberabad.
• Within Cyberabad, Kukatpally logged the most cases at 35, while Patancheru and Miyapur recorded 29 each.
