Overview
- A Hyatt affiliate has signed management agreements with Chai Talay Hotel Co. Ltd for The Barai Hua Hin and Narai Hotel Company Limited for the Narai Hotel, establishing the Unbound Collection’s first Thailand properties.
- The Barai Hua Hin will feature 90 rooms and suites, a central pool oasis, lush gardens, two restaurants and a destination spa with 18 treatment rooms and eight residential spa suites designed by Lek Bunnag when it opens in late 2026.
- The Narai Hotel will occupy the historic Silom site within the Heatherwick Studio–designed Hatai development and offer 250 rooms, all-day and rooftop dining, fitness and pool facilities, flexible meeting spaces and direct access to the Chong Nonsi BTS station for its 2028 relaunch.
- These asset-light deals expand Hyatt’s Thailand portfolio to 15 properties across seven brands, reinforcing the company’s strategy of managing third-party-owned hotels.
- The Unbound Collection emphasizes unique, story-driven experiences that draw on local heritage, architecture and curated guest journeys rather than a uniform brand standard.
