- Police say the suspect travelled from Kolar to J.J. Colony in Chintamani on Monday, slit his estranged wife Shama’s throat while she slept and also killed her sister Reshma before fleeing the scene.
- Hours after the killings the man left the three children in Kolar and surrendered at the Galpet (Gulpet) police station where he allegedly confessed and was taken into custody.
