Hurricane Lidia Weakens After Landfall Near Mexico's Puerto Vallarta Resort Leaves Damage And Fatalities

Lidia made landfall as an "extremely dangerous" Category 4 hurricane near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on Tuesday.
The storm brought heavy rain, flooding, high winds, and storm surge to coastal regions.
At least one fatality and multiple injuries have been reported along with infrastructure damage.
Lidia has since weakened to a tropical depression as it moves inland over Mexico.
The storm follows Tropical Storm Max which previously impacted southern Mexico this week.
