Hurricane Isaac and Tropical Storm Joyce Pose No Threat to Land

Both storms are expected to weaken in the coming days while moving through the open Atlantic.

Hurricane Isaac, a Category 2 storm, is located about 645 miles west-northwest of the Azores, moving northeast at 18 mph.
Tropical Storm Joyce is situated approximately 1,080 miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands, heading west-northwest at 9 mph.
Neither Isaac nor Joyce is expected to impact land, with both storms forecasted to weaken soon.
The National Hurricane Center is also monitoring three other systems with potential for development, one of which could affect the U.S. Gulf Coast.
Hurricane Helene, which recently struck the southeastern U.S. as a Category 4 storm, has caused at least 64 deaths across five states.
