- It is moving west-northwest at about 10 to 15 miles per hour under only marginally conducive environmental conditions.
- The National Hurricane Center has maintained a 10% chance of development for both the next two days and the next seven days.
- Forecasts show rising wind shear along with Saharan dust intrusion will likely prevent further organization by midweek.
- No tropical watches or warnings are in effect and if the system does develop it would be named Tropical Storm Dexter.
