HUNTR/X’s “Golden” Logs 7th Week at No. 1 as KPop Demon Hunters Dominates the Hot 100

Strong streaming, airplay and sales are powering the soundtrack’s crossover, punctuated by the first Radio Songs top 10 for an animated artist.

Overview

  • The single spends a seventh week atop the Billboard Hot 100, joining the 10 longest-leading No. 1 movie songs and tying TLC’s “Waterfalls” for the second-longest No. 1 run by an all-women group, behind Destiny’s Child.
  • The soundtrack places three tracks in the Hot 100’s top five for a fourth straight week, with Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” hitting a new peak at No. 3 and “Your Idol” at No. 5, a concentration last rivaled by Saturday Night Fever for two weeks in 1978.
  • For the Sept. 19–25 tracking week, “Golden” earned 33.8 million U.S. streams, 33.9 million in radio audience impressions and 8,000 sales, according to Luminate.
  • Globally, “Golden” leads both Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts for an 11th week, holds No. 1 on Streaming Songs for a 10th week and ranks No. 2 on Digital Song Sales.
  • U.S. airplay surges as “Golden” rises to No. 9 on Radio Songs—the first top 10 there for an animated artist—and breaks into the top five on the Pop Airplay chart.
